Jerôme Hol

Jerôme

Over the past years, Jerôme Hol has rapidly established himself as one of the most distinctive guitarists of his generation. First inspired by legends like the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix, he picked up the guitar at a young age, soon finding himself equally captivated by the world of jazz. After studying at the Rotterdam Conservatory, he moved to New York in 2005, where he was mentored by top guitarists such as Wayne Krantz and Hiram Bullock.

Since then, Jerôme has developed a unique musical voice, seamlessly blending the raw power of heavy rock with the warmth of the blues and the subtle harmonic richness of jazz. His style is often described as “Hendrix meets Coltrane”—fusing intense energy with sophisticated musicality.

In addition to leading his own band, Jerôme is a member of the Hans Dulfer Band, the Michiel Borstlap Band, and Eric Vloeimans’ Hotspot. He has also performed with a wide array of artists, including Billy Cobham, Dr. Lonnie Smith, and several innovative jazz projects.

Hé released one of his acclaimed albums ‘Sneak Peek’—a dynamic showcase of heavy guitar fireworks, fusing heavy metal with blues warmth and jazz complexity. The album quickly climbed to No. 4 in Platomania’s jazz chart for best-selling jazz records of 2017.

Critics have praised ‘Sneak Peek’ for its adventurous spirit, musical depth, and compelling sound
